The skew back crosscut saw was patented by Henry Disston & Sons Philadelphia, PA. in 1874. Simonds Saw Co called their model a 'sway back.' Great for cedar and all hardwoods as well. Lighter in weight and less steel in the kirf make for quick cutting and easy packing. 7″ wide X 2-1/2″ @ nose. Comes with D handle and supplementary handle
